1. Who we are

Caledonia Energy is the trading name of George McMillan, a sole trader based in Scotland. This page sets out the terms on which you may use this website, alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers how we handle your personal data.

2. What Caledonia Energy does

Caledonia Energy connects homeowners across Scotland with independent, third-party solar, battery storage and heat pump installers. We are an introducer, not an installer: we do not carry out installation work ourselves, and any quotation, contract or installation is arranged directly between you and the installer we connect you with.

3. Accuracy of information

We try to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, including guidance on funding schemes and typical costs. However, funding rules, grant availability and pricing can change, and figures on this site are indicative only. You should confirm current eligibility, costs and terms directly with the relevant scheme administrator or installer before making a decision.

4. No advice or guarantee

Nothing on this website constitutes financial, legal or technical advice. We do not guarantee that any installer will offer a particular price, that you will qualify for any grant or funding scheme, or that installation will proceed following an enquiry.

5. Third-party installers

Installers we connect you with are independent businesses and are not employees or agents of Caledonia Energy. Any contract for installation work is between you and the installer. Caledonia Energy is not responsible for the quality, timing or outcome of installation work carried out by third-party installers.

6. Cookies

This website uses only the cookies necessary for it to function correctly. [Full cookie policy to be confirmed].

7. Complaints

If you have a complaint about this website or about being connected with an installer, contact us at grgmcm@gmail.com and we will look into it. Complaints about installation work itself should be directed to the installer who carried out the work.

8. Contact

For any questions about these terms, see our Contact page or email grgmcm@gmail.com.
