1. Who we are

2. What we collect

When you use our enquiry form, we collect: your name, telephone number, email address, postcode, and property details you provide (property type, homeowner/tenant status, current heating, bedrooms, and any notes). If you agree to a callback, we also record your consent choice and the time you gave it.

3. Why we collect it, and our legal basis

We use your details to respond to your enquiry, check your property against current funding schemes, and — if you agree — arrange a call and connect you with an independent installer. Our legal basis is your consent (for the call itself) and legitimate interest (for using your property details to identify a suitable installer, since that's the service you've asked for).

When you submit an enquiry, you can choose to tick a box confirming: "I am happy for Caledonia Energy to call me about this enquiry using the telephone number provided." You can withdraw this consent at any time by emailing us — see the Contact page for details.

4. Who we share it with

If your enquiry is suitable, we share your name, contact details and property information with one independent installation company so they can arrange a visit and provide a quotation. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with multiple competing installers. Beyond that, we only share data with the service providers who help us run our business (our booking/telephone system, our hosting provider), and they're only permitted to use it to provide that service to us.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry details for as long as needed to respond to you and, where relevant, to support the installer relationship and any funding application. If your enquiry doesn't proceed, we don't keep your details indefinitely. [Specific retention period to be confirmed].
